beautiful words from beautiful friends

Ok!!!! Ladies and Gentleman, Boys and Girls, and all other light sentient beings alike. Here is todays distinction:

"The difference between Thinking and Feeling."

So this realization changed everything for me when I realized the difference between these two things.
...
First, we must understand that we are NOT THE VOICE IN OUR HEADS!!!!!!! If you are wondering what I am talking about stop readi

ng, and turn off everything and sit in silence.. "What voice is he talking about?" "Is it this voice that I hear right now?" "I wonder why he is sharing this" "What did I have for breakfast?" etc, etc, etc....... That Voice is NOT You!

Life does not happen in your head, life happens out here, in the world where we experience everything.

So thinking, mindless thinking is crazy!!!! I can give you a circumstance and you can sit all day thinking of the infinite number of different outcomes and at the end of the day, you have sat around in one place doing absolutely nothing.. Example: You are where you are A, and B is where you want to go to next.. How many different ways are there to get from A to B.. Infinite!!!!

So thinking about your past is silly because your past is enough to get you to where you are, but not enough to get you to where you are going. And thinking about the future, aka "future tripping" is equally silly because we can not predict what is going to happen ten seconds from the present moment, let alone of days, weeks, months, or even years ahead. So sitting around thinking of the endless possibilities of the things that will not happen are wasted energy. The only thing that is REAL is the NOW. Period, plain and simple. The now is all we have.

So the secret is to be present! Be in tune with the moment. And do so because we only get every moment once. Be in tune with the Now. And the key to having a profound relationship to reality and being present is you heart! Your heart will always point you in the right direction. And when you are feeling everything, you are present to life, and everything around you.. Your entire surroundings and yourself.

And the best part is that your heart only tells you two things.. It only has two possible outcomes unlike your mind. Your heart will tell you: "Does this feel right?" or "Does this feel wrong?"

If something feels right, then you know that your are walking your path of happy every unfolding destiny. Because everything happens for a reason.

And if something feels wrong, then you have the power to create a new possibility, take a new action, and get back to having things feel in the right once again.

Simple, effective, awesome!

Once I really turned this inward and starting living this, and being this distinction, a heavy load was lifted off my shoulders as I realized that I could finally stop thinking all the time, and getting stuck in my head, and that the answer was there all along! To experience the now! To trust my heart, because your heart is your soul, and that mindless always talking voice in your mind is your identity..

Now as a final note, because in the back of your mind, there is an itch to scratch.. And that is that there is a clear difference between critical thinking and mindless thinking.. When you are weighing your options in the present moment your heart and your mind are inter-connected.. Because asking yourself how something feels to make a decision is making a connection between your mind and your heart, or mind and soul in order to be on your path.

Remember: "Once a wise man, twice a fool."

We are not infallible creatures.. We as a species make mistakes. But learn from our mistakes and be the most knowledgeable and powerful entity in existence. But make mistakes, and not learn the lesson in those mistakes, and continue to repeat that mistake in all facets of your life, and be the fool in your own creation.

The definition of insanity: Doing the same action over and over again while expecting a different outcome.

I hope that this distinction of thinking vs. feeling has opened your way of being to a new possibility.

Thank you for my life, thank you for my friend, family and loved ones, and thank you once again fro being a channel to share my personal experiences with all that I am connected to!

Namaste with Love, Light, and Gratitude!

  1. Hi there, I just found your blog and the first post I read is already very interesting. I happened to write something very similar to this message what seems like a long time ago. I've copied and pasted it below, hope you enjoy.

    ---------

Wherever you go, that's where you are.

I've been hearing from a number of people lately who are not happy where they are in life and either wish to go back, go forward or go sideways. The trouble of course being that life is not a tape deck and wherever you go, that's where you are.

Moving around from place to place over the last ten years has taught me one or two things, the first of which being that you can't go back. In the process of moving along with your life you change, the people you leave behind change and the so do the places. It is possible to go back to the places and the people you left behind but you can't ever go back to the situation. We can't look back to what we had before, only to what we can have in the future, both where we are and where we came from. Cherish the memories you take with you in life but don't mourn the passing of the time in which they were made.

Just as rewinding is impossible, so too is fast forwarding life and skipping periods that we might not be enjoying. As the saying goes "To dream of the person you wish to be, is to waste the person you are" so it too applies to where you are in life. To dream of where you want to go is to waste all the opportunities you have around you. Or to quote the movie "What if this is as good as it gets?". Do we really want to spend our lives waiting for things to magically improve themselves or are we better off creating improvement right here, right now?

Moving sideways is more feasible than fast forwarding or rewinding but when done too often it becomes a way of life. You lose all forward momentum in your life and spend all your time starting up something new and abandoning something else. Not only don't you move forward you also deny any possibility of depth in any of your undertakings, be they friendships, jobs, places to live or whatever you may wish to mention. Always keep your eyes open for better alternatives but don't fall into a pattern of moving sideways, often the true pleasure of something isn't experienced until you allow yourself to become fully immersed in it.

"For yesterday is but a memory and tomorrow is only a vision; but today well lived makes every yesterday a memory of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope."
